🧁Wednesday WOW: My sons Owen & Charlie created this mess in our dining room and kitchen one day. We figured out that the mess wasn’t the point, it was that Owen wanted to bake (hence the eggs, the pancake mix! etc) I showed these photos to his teacher and she let us know that there was a baking club in Owen’s school where he could learn to bake/cook under supervision. He absolutely loved baking club (!) - and now asks to bake often at home. My tip to parents is that sometimes your child is trying to tell you their interests - even through a big mess!

💙Have you heard about Ohio's BLUE ENVELOPE program?! Read the flyer carefully. This program has been available since last summer and we are pleased to share it with you.

Contact your local board of developmental disabilities for an envelope. Inside the envelope you will find a wallet card, sticker, and brochure describing the program. Excellent communication tool for drivers with a disability. This is also great for parents/caregivers who have a passenger with a disability in their car.

If your board does not have the envelope, please reach out to the program sponsors for assistance.
