What is Image-Guided SRT?

Image-Guided SRT (Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy) is a treatment for skin cancer that uses low levels of X-ray energy to kill cancer cells, similar to dental X-rays. A radiation therapist delivers this treatment in here in our office.

This method is unique because it uses ultrasound images to show the size of the cancer. This allows us to target it accurately and monitor how it shrinks after each session.
