Big shoutout to two incredible women doing powerful work at Community Medical Services— Roshauna, an awesome Nurse Practitioner, and Shar, an awesome Client Services Coordinator.
For many people in recovery, especially in the midst of the fentanyl crisis, their first step toward healing starts with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment). Recovery happens in stages — and having strong, compassionate providers at the start of that journey makes all the difference.
Building trusted relationships like this helps ensure people are connected to the right level of care when they’re ready.
At New Horizons Recovery Centers we welcome referrals — including clients on MAT - those prescribed stimulants for ADHD, or benzos for anxiety (when clinically appropriate). While we are abstinence-based, we meet people where they are and create individualized paths to recovery.
