Born in Canada in 1836, Colonel Michael W. Smith played a pivotal role in the fight for equality as a leader of the 66th U.S. Colored Infantry during the Civil War. His courage and dedication to justice helped shape the path toward freedom for countless African Americans.

Smith was buried in Spring Grove, Section 104, Lot 301.

✨ Celebrating Black History ✨

Mazell Bell Robertson was the mother of NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson and two other sons, Bailey Jr. and Henry. One day after work, Mazell brought a basketball home to her youngest son, Oscar, and the rest is history. Mazell's influence lives on through her son’s legacy.

Robertson is buried in Spring Grove, Section 41, Lot 120A0.

Meet Thompson, Hall & Jordan: Licensed Funeral Director Katherine Jordan graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1970 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Her husband, Donald H. Jordan Sr., later introduced her to the funeral profession. She became a licensed funeral director for the state of Ohio in 1981 and continues to help families navigate life's most difficult moments.
