Virginia Keys Jones Coffey was a powerful force for change and one of Cincinnati's foremost civil rights leaders. Throughout her life, she championed equality, justice, and social reform, fighting tirelessly for the rights of African Americans in her community. She was Executive Director of the YWCA and started the first Girl Scout Troop in Cincinnati for African Americans. Her legacy as an activist in the civil rights movement continues to inspire future generations.

Coffey is buried in Spring Grove, Section C104, Lot A4.
