Today, a UCMC Officer was injured in the line of duty. Minor injury and was back at his post within an hour of receiving the injury.

The response by the other officers was amazing and it shows how supportive your brothers and sister actually are. Also medical staff was on point with getting that officer back to protecting.

Well done everyone!

Ohio’s nurses and health professionals are DONE being ignored and disrespected.

We are facing a full-blown patient care crisis—understaffing, workplace violence, and now a federal budget that targets the very people who keep our communities alive.

The proposed budget guts critical funding for nursing education, workforce development, and the public-health agencies that protect every Ohioan. This isn’t just bad policy—it’s an attack on patient care.

We’re calling on Senators Husted and Moreno to stand with nurses and health professionals and STOP these cuts before they devastate care across Ohio.

We need:
✔️ Full funding for nursing workforce programs
✔️ Restoration of the National Institute of Nursing Research
✔️ Protection of Medicaid
✔️ Investment in clinical training, education, and mental-health programs
✔️ Support for the providers keeping our communities safe

Nurses and health professionals are fighters, and we will not back down. Our patients, our professions, and our communities are worth protecting.

It’s time for our leaders to do the same.
