Today we kicked off our back-to-school fundraiser with a playful, nostalgic luncheon that brought back all the best school cafeteria memories — think sloppy joes, smiley fries, school pizzas, and dino nuggets galore! Our residents had an absolute blast, and we had a fantastic turnout of generous donations to start us off strong!

We’re collecting funds now through August 15th – National Back to School Day – all to support some of our hardest-working families and their kiddos with the school supplies they need to start the year off right.

Our Travel Club hit the road this week for an unforgettable overnight adventure to Sugarcreek in Amish Country — and wow, did they have a blast! From scenic views and peaceful moments to browsing handmade goods and sampling incredible Amish cooking, everyone came back with big smiles, fun stories, and even a few goodies to share.

Travel Club is just one of the many fun ways to get involved here at Evergreen and Wellspring. Whether exploring our local neighborhoods or venturing a bit further, it’s always an adventure — and a chance to make memories together.

We dove headfirst into Shark Week and the Jaws anniversary with a fintastic pop-up shark party—and it was a reel good time!

This jaw-some celebration was all thanks to our very own HR extraordinaire, Marylynn, whose love for Jaws knows no bounds. Sadie, our Health and Wellness Director, had her fun too. They even suited up in inflatable shark costumes! 🦈😂

From shark-inspired snacks to dangerously delicious cupcakes, every bite was a bite worth taking. Residents and team members came together for some jaw-dropping fun, and we had a blast making memories with lots of laughs and a little bit of bite.

Their beautiful mission—“connecting generations through stories, activities, and laughter”—was on full display as they spent time with our residents, bringing smiles, heartfelt conversations, and meaningful connections.

At Evergreen and Wellspring, pets are family, and today we gave them the spotlight they deserve! From wagging tails to purring poses, we celebrated our beloved companions with a special pet photo day and treated them to some homemade goodies made with love. 💕🐾

Whether they bark, meow, or just love a good cuddle, our four-legged buddies bring joy, comfort, and plenty of smiles to our community every day.

We had a great time hosting the APA Referral Group for a holly jolly good time at our Christmas in July celebration! From festive bites to cheerful sips, it was the perfect mid-year dose of holiday spirit.

Guests enjoyed a deconstructed Christmas feast featuring ham sliders, turkey, collard greens & stuffing eggrolls with cranberry sweet & sour sauce, santa cupcakes, a whimsical Christmas tree charcuterie board, and more tasty treats straight from Santa’s summer kitchen!

And what’s a holiday party without cocktails? Our very own favorite bartender, Marylynn, was slinging eggnog and cranberry rosemary cocktails like a true Christmas elf behind the bar! 🍸✨

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this merry and bright celebration—we loved spreading some mid-year cheer with you all!

Today was all about joy, creativity, and delicious bites as our Embrace residents enjoyed a fun DIY pizza day! From spreading sauce to topping their flatbreads with favorites like fresh-grown basil and creamy mozzarella, everyone got to be their own chef for the afternoon.

The laughter was contagious, the pizzas were mouthwatering, and most importantly, our residents’ hearts (and tummies!) were full. ❤️🍕 These simple moments bring the most beautiful memories.

Bonjour from Evergreen! 🇫🇷

Today, we brought the charm of Paris right to our community with a Bastille Day Bistro Pop-Up — and what a magnifique celebration it was!

Our residents enjoyed classic French bites like escargot, mussels, buttery croissants, and croque madames straight from our bistro kitchen. The aromas alone transported us to the streets of Montmartre! To top it off, a talented caricature artist sketched our residents with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop, making everyone feel truly immersed in the magic of French culture.

We had an absolute blast celebrating together — vive la France, and vive la Evergreen community! ❤️🥐
