Today is World Lung Cancer Day! Although treatment for this type of cancer is generally considered far more treatable in its earlier stages, many who are eligble for lung cancer screenings do not receive them regularly.

Team members from McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Baldwin, Good Samaritan Western Ridge, TriHealth Glenway, the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion and TriHealth Kenwood enjoyed great company, food, fun and more at their respective celebrations, with a host of more locations celebrating this week!

Following the loss of her first child after only a few hours, TriHealth patient Paige Fath received the difficult news that she was once again diagnosed with PPROM (Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes) during her second pregnancy and once again had to deliver early, this time at 31 weeks.

After spending his first 55 days in TriHealth’s Good Samaritan Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Paige's son is now a thriving two-year-old.

“The nurses at Good Samaritan were extremely kind and as comforting as possible during such a traumatic event,” Paige said of that first experience. Because of this, she said she had “No hesitation in deciding to return to Good Sam for his birth as well, and I'm forever grateful for that.” Read her full story here: s.trihealth.com/659Y15
