Lotus ABA Services is opening additional clinic availability starting this June for children ages 5 and under. No minimum hours requirement!!

Our goal is to provide individualized, compassionate ABA therapy in a supportive clinic setting, designed to help your child grow, learn, and thrive.

Let’s not strive change our Au-Some friends, but change the world through acceptance, advocacy, and education! It starts with you! Let us strive for compassion and understanding in a world full of judgement!

As owner of Lotus ABA and many years of experience working with families, one of the greatest challenges are public perceptions of judgement when they are trying to help their children navigate in a world not made for them.

Here are some tips if you see a Au-some friend and their family struggling in public:

✨ Lead with empathy, not assumptions
You don’t know their story. What may look like “bad behavior” could be a child overwhelmed, anxious, or communicating the only way they can.

✨ Offer a smile, not a stare
A small act of kindness can go a long way. Your reaction matters more than you think.

✨ Give space when needed
Crowding, staring, or commenting can increase stress. Sometimes the best support is allowing the family room to regulate.

✨ Avoid unsolicited advice
Families are doing their best. Unless they ask, support them with kindness—not corrections.

✨ Be an advocate in the moment
If others are judging or making comments, be the voice of understanding. Normalize differences.

✨ Teach your children acceptance
Model compassion. Teach them that everyone communicates and experiences the world differently—and that’s okay.

✨ Remember: behavior is communication
Every action has a reason. Instead of asking “What’s wrong?” ask “What might they need?”

Together, we can create a world where families feel supported—not judged. A world where differences are understood, respected, and celebrated.

🪷Today we celebrate World Behavior Analysis Day 🪷

Behavior analysis is more than just a therapy. It is a science dedicated to understanding how and why behavior happens. It looks at how our environment, experiences, and interactions shape what we do, how we learn, and how we grow.

At its core, behavior analysis helps answer questions like:

➡️ Why do we behave the way we do?
➡️ How do we learn new skills?
➡️ What helps behavior change in meaningful, lasting ways?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is one branch of this larger science. It takes these principles and applies them in real life settings, helping individuals build communication, independence, social skills, and more.

While ABA is often recognized in the autism community, behavior analysis reaches far beyond. It is used in education, parenting, mental health, organizational leadership, sports, and everyday life.

Today is a reminder that behind every strategy, every intervention, and every success story, there is a science rooted in understanding people and improving lives.

We work with children ages 15 months to 13 years old and believe in pairing staff with clients based on experience and strengths, not just filling a schedule.

We see the parents doing everything they can to create magic while also managing behavior challenges, stress, and expectations.

The holidays can look different when you are raising a child with extra support needs, and that difference deserves acknowledgment, not pressure.

Please remember: you are not alone.
You are doing a wonderful job.

The trust you place on us each day… the smiles on all of your faces… and sharing your life with us… means the world to us! We adore our pumpkins of all ages (haha)!!

At Lotus ABA Services, our mission has always been rooted in compassion & helping children and families grow stronger together through understanding, support, and care.

Last night, we were so very proud to be one of many gala sponsors to The Pink Elephant Movement, a Philadelphia nonprofit dedicated to giving support to children and families affected by addiction; especially those who’ve opened their homes and hearts to children left behind.

Their message deeply resonates with us: “Community is more than a place, it’s a lifeline.” This is how we like to run our practice, providing our families with a sense of safety and improving their quality of life through the services we provide. We do this through our unique brand of compassionate Applied Behavior Analysis services. The Pink Elephant does this by providing financial assistance, community resources, and a network of encouragement to help families heal from the trauma of addiction.

As a team of therapists and advocates, we believe that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and inspired to dream again. Contributing to the mission of The Pink Elephant allows us to extend our own mission beyond therapy sessions into the heart of the community.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stand beside such an incredible organization and join their mission of hope, healing, and empowerment.

Together, we can help more children discover their passions, unlock their potential, and believe in what’s possible.

We had a Halloween celebration today with all of our kiddos!

Say hello to the Thursday AM and PM crew who helped make today a success!!

The children got to trick or treat throughout the center! Our student analysts made them cards to communicate “Trick or Treat” that they practiced using today so that if they decide to go out tomorrow they can be included and understood in THEIR way! Families pitched in and brought treats! They worked on those fine motor skills completing arts and crafts activities! Communication, social skills, and motor skills all wrapped up in a wonderful and happy day!!!
