Den Meeting Fun! Our wolves worked on Paws on the Path, reviewing our six essentials, Leave No Trace, the buddy system and planning for outdoor adventures. The Webelos and AOL working together on rank requirements. Lions and Tigers worked together on rank requirements too.

Last evening, some of our dens started their den meetings! Our Wolves shared about the adventures they had during summer and brushed up on our scout basics. The Arrow of Light scouts worked with the Webelos to learn scouting basics and start start on their scouting trail.

Religious Emblems Opportunity!

Salem in Ballwin United Methodist Church, P.R.A.Y., and the national committees and associations of Protestant faiths are excited to announce that national virtual programs are returning for 2025. These programs will be beneficial in making the religious emblems available to all youth, especially those who are having difficulty finding an in-person class or congregational support near them.

These classes are open to any Protestant, Non-Denominational, or Independent Christian youth in any organization, grades Kindergarten through 12th, interested in fortifying their experience through their faith. Classes in each of the five program levels are offered and will be presented over Zoom. There is room for 2,000 (400 per program offered) total students.
Registration is free and open until September 30th.

Northern Star has partnered with the Street Machine Nationals event, hosted at the State Fairgrounds July 18-20, to offer a discounted entry rate for our Scouts and their families who are interested in attending the event!

The Street Machine Nationals will feature stunning high-performance street machines, hot rods, street trucks and the best dream machines from coast-to-coast, all on display. There will also be a Pinewood Derby activity hosted by Northern Star volunteers that attendees could participate in for free if interested!

We hope to see you at this awesome summer opportunity!

This week was our last den meetings for this school year. The lions and tigers prepared for the upcoming pack meeting by practicing songs and skits and finishing off the night with freezes.

The Lions have been enjoying the nice weather! They completed our ‘On a Roll’ bike adventure and learned about bike safety last week. This week we played at the park and made nature prints with clay.
The Tigers learned a magic trick and a couple secret codes for their ‘Curiosity, Intrigue, and Magical Mysteries’ loop.
