1) Always the option to skip the chaturanga and head straight to downdog. (Or drop to knees)
2) Open bend & stretch OR wildthing if it feels good.
3) Hand on a block to add more height to step the foot to twisted chair.
4) Elbow to thigh for twist or hand to thigh to step down.
5)Passing through W3 before High Lunge.
6) Floating the fingers in triangle or landing on a block.
7) Side plank knee to elbow crunch option.
8) From belly either stretching to updog or pressing up to high plank for strength option.
9) cross-leg forward fold or option to find Eagle.

This is how I cultivate a flow for everyone in one class. Options, Options, Options and creating a space with zero expectations or pressure to do every single pose. Honoring what your body needs in that moment and not what you think you *should* be doing is always the goal.

When your own flow has you lying there questioning yourself… you know it’s going to be a good power flow🤣

Shoulders will be sore tomorrow from funky pincha 3-legged dog (yep, IYKYK) and any flow that weaves in Tittibhasana is definitely a power flow💁🏻‍♀️

Unbeknownst to me, apparently the Monday night power was *also* shoulder heavy and the class accused me of conspiring with 🤣

If you’re thinking of becoming an RYT-200, I cannot stress enough how amazing Bonnie is! She is the one who encouraged me to become certified and is a true light in this world💜💜

I'm preparing for 2026 Yoga Teacher Training with Bonnie Finneran Yoga. Training goes October 2026 thru March 2027 at Groveport Recreation Center. Its a hybrid program with both on-line and in person dates. Sunday kicks off our first Pilates class at the studio with .kirby!!

I’ve had some questions so I decided to make a quick post to answer the FAQ’s

1) Is this beginner friendly?
-YES! Paige is starting with the basics and slowly building from there. This is the PERFECT class to learn the foundations and techniques for proper alignment to get the best results.

2) What do I need to bring?
-Bring a mat, water and open mind! (We do have a few extra mats if you need to borrow one)

3) Can I bring my own weights?
Yes! While the class is body weight focused, if you want to bring ankle weights, bands, hand weights to step up your workout, feel free but again this is NOT necessary!

4) Is it Hot Pilates?
-No. Or I should say, not yet. We are starting with normal temp classes but may eventually move to heated/hot down the road.

5) What should I wear?/ Are shoes allowed?
-Wear any workout attire that you can move freely in and feel comfortable. (Just like yoga)
-Shoes are not allowed to maintain studio cleanliness but you can wear Pilates/yoga socks if you want.

6) Can I drop in?
-No, these are prepay only so you must register through the website.
