Attachment to the root is essential for life. Once that connection is severed, the destination is death.
This once thriving, green, fruitful tree was severed from the roots. Cut down by forces in this world. Brought down to its demise with the destination of the fire pit. It took merely a few days for the lush fruitful tree to be diminished to dried leaves and dead fruits. Once severed from the root, it doesn’t take long.

Much like this tree we must remain connected to the root to sustain life! Jesus Christ is that connection to our life providing Father in Heaven.
BUT unlike this tree, our connection never has to be permanently severed! We may fall, life can cut us down, we might wander down a path of destruction… BUT the Holy Spirit is gifted to us to help us recognize when we’ve fallen. The blood of Christ has been shed to help us reconcile with our Father, and the restoration of our life and our fruitfulness is NEVER too far gone!
As long as you have breath in your lungs the opportunity to make beauty from the ashes, the chance to be brought from death back to life, the overwhelming, never ending love of God is there waiting for you to reconnect with Him. Our root. Our foundation. Our giver of life, peace and joy!
Forgiveness, mercy, grace…. It’s ours for the taking!!!
Thank You Father and praises in the name of Jesus! Our Lord and Savior…. our Redeemer.
