Some may not know but along with being a Licensed Massage Therapist, I have a background on occupational therapy.

I’m what they call a COTA. CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT.

I’ve worked in a hospital setting, and done clinical hours in a pediatric setting and nursing facility. Currently, I work through the Co-Op on Tuesdays and Thursdays where I get to work with students to help them succeed in a school setting.

Well, life sure does happen out of nowhere sometimes!

As most have heard, we had a fire in the building Saturday night. I’m thankful no one was hurt and my room wasn’t directly involved but everything does smell like smoke.

I’ve had to cancel my Monday clients and not sure about the rest of the week. I’m hoping to get more answers tomorrow. I’ll update my Calm & Co family as soon as possible.

I’m doing what I can to turn setbacks into comebacks. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. It means a lot.

I’ve had some clients use my hot towel tray for their jewelry and such. Completely understandable! I got this sweet little heart tray from Bluebonnet Social in Cisco. Fantastic food/drinks, cutest home decor, and the sweetest people! Stop by and see them!
