Allister Homecare is looking for compassionate individuals to care for our clients. Our Home Care Aides work one on one with clients, in their homes and in our contracted facilities. We provide exceptional care, and we're looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for caring for others.

The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.

Responsibilities:

Our Home Care Aides provide personal services such as toileting, bathing, and grooming. Assitance with the home, laundry, dishes, meals, and shopping. We also provide companionship, by keeping our client's company and engaged in conversations. Daily activities include assistance with medication, phone calls, and appointments.

Requirements:

High school diploma preferred
Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
Home Care Aide Registration or ability to obtain
TB clearance or ability to obtain
CPR and Frist-Aid or ability to obtain
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time

Current TB test; Home Care Aide registration number; Criminal background clearance; CPR certification; Valid Drivers Licence; Reliability & punctuality; Strong problem solving skills.
