We are still getting settled here in Florida and I wanted to share a little of what’s been going on lately.

I’ve been dealing with some allodynia (fibromyalgia pain) and high blood pressure again. I was in remission from both, but sometimes life has a way of reminding you to slow down and take care of your body.

Starting a new life in a new state from scratch isn’t easy, and my body definitely recognizes that.

So I’ve been getting back to the basics. Using my original magnesium mist, taking Epsom salt baths, grounding, and really paying attention to what I’m putting on my body and the food I’m eating - staying away from inflammatory foods.

I’ve also been spending more time in nature and allowing myself to slow life down. I truly believe that makes a difference for our bodies.

This path will never be perfect, but the good thing is I know what got me to remission, and I know how to get my body back to feeling good again.

Today is Resurrection Day ✝️

There was a time I didn’t know how I’d make it through… through the pain, the diagnoses, the exhaustion. But through every tear and every prayer, Jesus met me there.

I truly believe it was His strength that carried me when I didn’t have any left.

Today is a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is hope, healing, and new life.

I’m praying for anyone who is fighting a battle right now… you are not alone 🤍

Grounding has become one of my favorite things to do before starting my day. There’s just something about slowing down, stepping outside, and reconnecting with the earth that feels so good for the body and mind.

It comes with so many benefits - helping reduce inflammation, supporting better sleep, calming the nervous system, improving mood, and even boosting energy levels. It’s simple, but powerful.

Not only does it support your physical body, but it also brings a sense of calm and clarity to your mind and overall wellbeing.

Lately, my favorite way to start the day is sitting in my yard with my Maxy boy, listening to the birds here on the Nature Coast. It’s peaceful, grounding, and honestly the best way to ease into the day.
