The year was 2016 when Vanina Cavallini and I created a project very close to my heart: Actions for a Change. Our dream was simple yet powerful — to educate, to inspire, and to take one real step toward changing the way babies are born.
We followed the profound words of Dr. Michel Odent, who reminded us that if we want to change the world, we must first change the way babies are born.
With that vision, we organized a two-day conference in Miami, Florida: Childbirth – Science vs. Tradition, led by Dr. Odent himself. It was unforgettable — two days of learning, sharing, and planting seeds of change in the hearts of birth workers.
I was blessed with the privilege of spending three full days alongside Dr. Odent. What touched me the most was not only his brilliance and courage, but also his humility, humor, and the way he looked at each of us — whether OB-GYN, midwife, or doula — with the same eyes, the same respect, the same human connection.
Today, I carry deep gratitude for those days and for the message he left us with. My hope is that his words and his legacy will continue to ripple outward, bringing true change to the way babies enter this world. 🌍✨
