Our Story

Lice Clinics of America Portland opened in January 2017 by two local dads, George Macoubray and Mark Meyer. Both have children in their 20’s and were looking for a business opportunity that would benefit kids and families. It was a natural fit with Lice Clinics of America as both had experienced a child coming home with nits! Lice Clinics of America is a science-based lice treatment company with technology that really works. We are excited to not only open our first clinic in the Sylvan, Portland area, but more importantly, to be the FIRST clinic to bring this highly effective treatment to Oregon. Our clinic is easily accessible from all locations in the Portland Metro area. As dads we bring many years of business experience to this venture – Mark as a successful entrepreneur and business adviser, and George as a commercial real estate broker. We’re thrilled to be here to service families who have a real problem in a truly professional environment. We preschedule appointments 7 days a week and have an awesome team to get lice out and alleviate your stress. We have subsequently opened additional clinics in Salem (November 2017), Bend (February 2018) and Vancouver, Washington (April 2018) and Clackamas (July 2018).
