New research shows that balance and flexibility — in addition to regular exercise, healthy eating, managing your overall health, and keeping your mind active — can boost your overall health and even support brain function! 🧠💪

I find this incredibly encouraging! After watching the women on my mom’s side face dementia in their later years, I’m more determined than ever to break that cycle through lifestyle choices. 💚

Yoga helps me do that — and I’d love to have you join me on the mat. Let’s take care of ourselves, body and mind.

“How often should I practice yoga?”
I get this question all the time—and my answer is always: Every day!

But maybe not in the way you think.
Yoga doesn’t have to mean an hour-long class on your mat.
✨ Taking a moment to breathe deeply is yoga.
🌿 Connecting with nature on a walk or hike is yoga.
🧘‍♀️ Sitting in stillness is yoga.
❤️ Re-centering yourself during a busy day is yoga.

A yoga class helps us learn how to bring this practice off the mat—so that we can live more fully, more present, more connected.

After all, yoga means “the union of individual and universal consciousness.”
And that connection? You can practice it every single day.
