Yes it’s after midnight, but I’ve always been a night owl. I swear I do my best thinking and my best work long after everyone else is asleep. (My mom reminds me daily that it’s not the healthiest habit, lol.)
But I had to try out the new knives my hunny bought me the other day. I needed to get more fruit in the dehydrator for my simmer pots, so it was the perfect excuse. They’re incredibly sharp and have cut my prep time in half slicing everything paper thin.
And oh my goodness… the way my kitchen smells right now is absolutely heavenly. 🍊🍎

👋🏼 Hey friends! I’m sure you’ve noticed I’ve been a little MIA these last couple weeks and I want to say I’m so sorry for the slow replies. Life has been full to the brim lately with family, kids, my part time job, foraging those last precious herbs before winter sets in, making and packing orders and everything in between. At the end of the day, there’s just one of me but I’m not complaining!

I got a bouquet today - a bouquet of beautiful mullein! 🌿 One of my absolute favorite herbs and a true blessing for lung support. It’s helped so many of my family and friends over the years and it’s one I always keep tinctured up and ready in my apothecary.
