Care Net of Chilton County was honored to attend Butterfly Bridge’s Child Abuse Prevention Month kickoff 🩵🦋

It was such a meaningful time standing alongside others in our community who are passionate about protecting and advocating for children. Events like this are a powerful reminder that it truly takes all of us working together to make a difference.

We were also so glad to run into our friends from Raleigh’s Place while we were there! We love partnering with organizations who share the same heart for serving families and children well.

Together, we can be a voice for the vulnerable and bring hope, healing, and support to those who need it most. 🦋🩵

Take a look back to where it all began! 📰🩵

In September 2006, Care Net of Chilton County opened its doors with a heart to serve women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. What started as a small group of passionate volunteers stepping out in faith has grown into a ministry that continues to impact lives every single day.

From those very first pregnancy tests and counseling sessions to the many services we offer now, one thing has never changed—our commitment to walk alongside each person with compassion, support, and hope.

We are so grateful for the faithful supporters, volunteers, and community members who made this possible then—and who continue to make it possible today. 🩵

Because of you, lives have been changed for nearly 20 years.

Yesterday, Part of our team and Board President Jeremy Jones had the opportunity to attend Lenten Lunches at Mt. Nebo Methodist Church. We are so grateful to be one of the organizations receiving the generous donations given—what a blessing it is to be supported by such a caring community!

We were also excited to share about Blue Sunday, as Butterfly Bridge and Care Net have partnered together for this special day on April 26th. We invited local churches to join us in participating as we come together to pray for and bring awareness to the protection of children. 🦋🩵

We’re taking it back to 2006 when an incredible group of youth gave up part of their spring break to help prepare Care Net of Chilton County for opening day 🩵

From painting walls to getting the space ready, these young volunteers played a huge role in laying the foundation for the ministry we know today. Their servant hearts and willingness to show up made a lasting impact on countless lives in our community.

It’s amazing to look back and see how far God has brought us—and it all started with moments like these.

From seeking non-profit status to asking for help to simply get off the ground, this moment is a powerful reminder of how God used faithful people and generous hearts to build something lasting.

Today we’re sharing a powerful testimony from one of our very own—Mama C 💙

“Without Selah’s I would be lost without my baby—homeless & lost. This place has genuinely made me feel like I finally fit in and belong somewhere. This place has shown me that I can do it and there is hope when you think all is lost. It’s shown me there is still good in this world and it’s possible through trusting God.”

Stories like this are why we do what we do. Lives are being changed, hope is being restored, and families are being kept together. 🙌

All services are free and confidential. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit. All donations are tax deductible.
