I’ve been there. I’ve navigated cancer, a doctorate, and the daily noise of a neurodivergent brain. I know that sometimes you don't need a "spiritual journey", you just need to feel okay again for the next ten minutes.

Like meditation works for everyone… except you?

If you’ve ever searched “meditation for ADHD,” “why meditation doesn’t work for me,” or “mindfulness for a racing mind,” this may sound familiar.

If trying to sit still and clear your mind only made things louder, you’re not broken and you’re definitely not alone.

Many beautifully busy minds ADHD, autistic, highly sensitive, overwhelmed nervous systems don’t respond well to traditional meditation instructions.
Forcing stillness can actually increase agitation, anxiety, or shutdown.

Here’s something I gently remind my students:

“Normal” is just a setting on a dryer.
