Congratulations to the Valley Bistro Team on placing 3rd in the non-profit category this past Saturday at the Fall Festival and Chili Cook-off in Claremont.

After nearly a decade away from the competition, their long-awaited return was a success! The bold debut of Pizza Chili was definitely one for the Valley recipe books; zesty, savory and packed full of flavor! A huge shout to head chef, Alexe Hall and culinary specialist, Huzon Stewart, as well as chili cook-off veteran Samantha Woodall for their dedication to flavor and their nostalgic 'Pizza Planet' themed decor.

To celebrate their 3rd place victory, the team will feature Pizza Chili on the upcoming menu for all team members to enjoy!

Milestone Monday! Today we share progress photos of the new medical office building, as we take steps towards completing the foundational structures from the ground up. The concrete floor has been poured, the roof's structure is ~60% complete, and the exterior walls are steadily progressing. The vision is becoming a reality for our community.

Once completed, the 25,000-square-foot medical office building will bring together primary care, pediatrics, orthopaedics, and behavioral health under one roof, allowing for increased care coordination.

Yesterday's weather was perfect for the annual TLC Recovery BBQ. ☀️ Our dedicated community health navigators had the opportunity to speak with attendees and share a ton of valuable health information and resources. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success, including these two! 🙂

Valley Regional Hospital, in conjunction with River Valley Community College and Apprenticeship NH, launched another year of the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) apprenticeship program. The 8-week program finished with a licensing exam with a 100% successful pass rate for all 5 students. Congratulations Brandon Garrett, Isabella Rodriguez, Reagan Fratzel, Kaiyla King, and Addison Bacon (not pictured). Best of luck on your healthcare careers!

This past Saturday, we were thrilled to take part in the annual Back to School Festival! ☀️ Our team always looks forward to connecting with the community, sharing the latest health information, and seeing so many smiling faces as kids enjoy free face painting 🎨, fun goodies 😊, and school supplies✏️ 🎒.

We are proud to cheer on our Senior Director of Quality, Laura Hagley, as she takes on the 100-mile ride in support of TLC’s mission on September 12th.

The Ride for Resilience is an annual 100-mile charity bicycle ride that benefits New Hampshire’s network of family support and those organizations who work to create safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children. The Ride connects family resource centers across the Granite State and highlights family strength and the many ways New Hampshire's network of support helps build individual, family, and community resilience!
