The gravestone of Nathaniel Dwit, 1711, at Old Meadow Cemetery in West Springfield, Massachusetts. It was made by William Stanclift, and it features a rather primitive skull carving at the top of the stone. It was carved out of sandstone, probably quarried in Portland, Connecticut. Compare this design to the much more ornate gravestones that were produced in eastern Massachusetts by the Lamson family during this same time period, as shown in my post earlier this morning.

Excuse me, someone in THIS TOWN left kittens in a plastic bag at Walmart? What kind of dumb f**k do you have to be, to do that at all, nevermind when there’s a perfectly decent cat shelter in town? F**k you, f**k your momma, f**k you right into next Tuesday.

Ridiculous behavior.

UPDATE: the police have been in touch with Walmart and this occurred outside the camera’s view.

As many of you may have seen on the local page, two kittens were found in a plastic bag discarded in the snow at the edge of the Walmart parking lot. Thank goodness someone found them and brought them to us.

To whoever did this horrible thing…what is wrong with you? In the cold? In a plastic bag? Dumping them at all? There is no excuse! You could have literally walked to the humane society from Walmart!!

Please if you, or someone you know, is unable to care for their pet any longer, reach out to your local rescues as soon as you realize you are having a problem. We can, and we will, help!

Thankfully these two were found in time and are now safe, warm, fed and loved. A huge thank you to the person who found them and brought them to us! They will be available for adoption once they are old enough to be vaccinated and neutered,

A lot of creators with integrity are being more selective about what they share online, for a lot of reasons.

One of the reasons is that the owners of this platform and others, don’t care about a) impersonator accounts b) accounts that blatantly violate copyrights, and more. We report the fake stuff and they do nothing to curb it.

Be selective about what and who you follow. There’s just a lot of scammy crap out here, from people who don’t know wtf they’re talking about. This is why there so few creators online that I actually follow with intent. (That and a lot of people just put out a lot of misinformation and garbage. And then the social media companies have weird AI generated accounts. Gross.)
