U.S. News and World Report has ranked Rogers State University as the top university in the state of Oklahoma in two categories. The rankings were released Monday, Sept. 18, as part of U.S. News and World Report’s “2024 Best Colleges” rankings for colleges and universities.

RSU ranked 10th on the list of “Top Public Schools – Regional Colleges of the West,” the highest ranking for any college or university in the state of Oklahoma. The “West” region includes 15 states, ranging from Oklahoma and Texas, all the way to California and the west coast.

Rogers State received another top rating in the state of Oklahoma, ranking 31st on the list for “Overall Rank – Regional Colleges of the West,” again beating out all other institutions in the state.

RSU received recognition in the 35th position for “Top Performers on Social Mobility – Regional Colleges of the West,” the second highest ranking for any college or university in the state. This ranking is based on an institution’s success at graduating students who receive Federal Pell grants, as well as additional factors including graduation rates for first generation college students.

More than 50 interested female students and women from all walks of life attended Women for RSU’s recent Ice Cream Social. Held Sept. 6 on the Sarkeys Plaza in front of the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center at RSU, the OklaHomes-sponsored event gave female students the opportunity to learn about the initiative and to meet mentors in an informal atmosphere while enjoying ice cream.
