Last night was a proud moment for the Animal Medical Center family. 💙🐾

On 5/6/26, the TCC Veterinary Technology Program held their annual pinning ceremony for the 2026 graduates, and we were thrilled to celebrate one of our own : Samantha Sutton! 🎓

Samantha has worked incredibly hard throughout the program, and she’ll soon be sitting for her boards as she takes the next step toward becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. We’re excited that you’ll be seeing a lot more of her smiling face around the clinic!

The evening was made even more special with Dr. Gilsleider serving as the guest speaker for the ceremony. He shared advice, encouragement, and insight from decades in the veterinary field, speaking to the next generation about growth, perseverance, and building a meaningful career in veterinary medicine.

Our feline client "Fred" is turning the big FOUR today and celebrated the staff for keeping him going with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Fred came into the clinic for a persistent swelling under his chin after a lot of diagnostics and TLC. Fred is on the mend and doing well. The doctors and Fred's mom worked very hard on his recovery. We are so grateful his mom trusts us with his care.

As many of you may or may not know Morgan Cornwell, one of our Veterinary Nurses, is now our Practice Manager. We could not be more excited about this. Morgan has been an incredible addition to our team since she first arrived and she is going to be a wonderful Practice Manager at Animal Medical Center.

And yes she will also still be nursing as well, so you can continue to count on her working with your wonderful animals on a daily basis!

Today was a reminder that even the smallest details matter BIG when it comes to animal care.

Our 5-week-old lemur wasn’t acting like himself this morning with low energy, not eating well, just off. We got him checked immediately, and it turns out something as simple as switching formula made a huge difference.

And yes… he’s back to being his sassy little self already! You’ll probably hear him before you see him 😅

A few brand new reasons to smile 🐑💛

Dr. Hand had the honor of helping bring new life into the world, assisting with the delivery of these sweet baby lambs. From first breaths to first snuggles, moments like this are what veterinary medicine is all about.

Lambing can be unpredictable, and when things don’t go as planned, having experienced care makes all the difference. Dr. Hand was there every step of the way. Supporting mom, guiding the delivery, and making sure these little ones got a strong, healthy start.

There’s nothing quite like witnessing those first wobbly steps and hearing those tiny baas for the first time.
