A MISSION OF HOPE

Light of Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry assisting individuals and families facing the struggle of substance misuse & providing prevention education to our communities.

Recovery:
Individuals & families are provided opportunities of support through LOH support groups, classes, workplace readiness, helpful resources, and encouragement for the future. Prevention:
Light of Hope School & Community Drug Education Program, focuses on educating our children & communities.
​Light of Hope received the Drug Enforcement Administration(DEA) 2020 National Community Drug Prevention Award! LOH provides guidance in finding resource assistance, encouragement support groups, classes, monthly speaker panels. LOH provides a confidential, non-judgmental, loving environment, which will bring encouragement and hope to families and individuals learning how to cope with the rollercoaster of substance misuse & addiction. We are a support system grounded on faith in God, bridging the gap: Helping people see the HOPE.

Sometimes faith is simpler than we make it. Not striving. Not spiraling. Not solving everything at once.Just trusting the God who already knows the ending. When worry gets loud, return to what’s steady. When stress tries to lead, choose trust instead. Today’s reminder: You don’t have to figure it all out, God already has.

God has always worked through imperfect people. Not the polished. Not the ready. Not the ones who had it all together. Just the willing.
If you’ve ever felt disqualified by your past, your weakness, or your doubts... take heart. Grace doesn’t wait for perfection. It meets you right where you are and builds from there. 🙌
A Mindful moment:
Pause. Take a slow breath in. Whisper, “God, I’m here.” Release the need to prove yourself.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for calling me not because I am strong, but because You are. Use every part of my story for Your glory. Teach me to trust Your work in me, even when I feel unqualified. In Jesus' name, Amen.
