🌟 Meet the Team: Shelly Mancini, Director of Health Services

Today we’re honored to highlight Shelly, who was initially hired in 2007 as a Personal Care Aide at Bristol Village. Over her tenure at Bristol, she has also served as an LPN, Memory Care Unit Coordinator, and has now been the Director of Health Services since 2019.

Shelly attended the LPN Program at ERIE1BOCES and received her Nursing License. She is a peaceful, caring person and gains joy and satisfaction from helping others.

🎓 Studied business and education, and earned a doctorate degree
🏆 Developed an adult study program in England, and was honored by English Cambridge University for this
🏛️ Served as a Vice President for Villa Maria College
👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Is a loving mother and widow of a U.S. Navy Air Corps veteran
🤝 Enjoys being social and engaging in group activities and outings
🏈 Is a fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers
🎾 Has a love for tennis — both as a former player and as a spectator
🎼 Plays the piano and the flute, and enjoys listening to oldies, classical and ragtime music

🍽️ March Cooking Club at Bristol Village 🍗🍄‍🟫🍰

A group of our residents had a delicious time in the kitchen last month! Together, they prepared a comforting chicken & mushroom pot pie with flour dumplings, followed by a sweet treat — a rich red velvet chocolate chip bundt cake.

From mixing and measuring to sharing stories and laughter, Cooking Club is always a wonderful way to bring everyone together and celebrate the joy of homemade meals. ❤️

Good food and even better company — just the way we like it. Can’t wait to see what’s cooking next! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

This year’s Easter festivities brought a lot of smiles! 🐰🐣🌷

Bristol Village residents and their families enjoyed a lively and engaging Easter weekend on April 4 and 5, filled with festive, themed activities organized by our Activities Department.

🪺 The celebration began on Saturday with a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt, where residents, their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren delighted in searching for colorful eggs and sharing in the excitement of the holiday. Five lucky kids won Easter baskets that were filled with all kinds of spring activities!

🐇 The festivities continued on Sunday with a cheerful Easter social and a visit from the Easter Bunny, bringing everyone together for conversation, laughter and seasonal treats.

We’re grateful for a weekend that provided a wonderful opportunity for our residents and their families to connect, celebrate and create joyful memories! 🙏💚
