My name is Shana (Shay) and I am the owner of Shay Maz Aesthetics & Wellness! I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Head and Neck Oncology and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at ECMC. I started my career in healthcare as a Medic in the United States Air Force. This role paved the way for many years of experience in multiple specialized areas. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Daemen College and subsequently pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree leading to board-certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I also hold certifications in Botox and Dermal Fillers from the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics as well as IV vitamin infusion therapy. In addition to my full-time focus on cancer care, I have developed a strong interest in medical aesthetics to include specialized skincare procedures, Botox, and dermal fillers. I am passionate about helping my patients not only overcome their health challenges but also enhance their self-confidence and overall well-being. As a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics, I understand the importance of feeling good about one’s appearance. In my practice, I strive to provide personalized care that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of my patients' needs. Whether it's through non-surgical aesthetic treatments or assisting in post-operative care following plastic surgery procedures, I am dedicated to helping my patients achieve their desired outcomes.
