🚨 Help Protect Equine Bodyworkers in Texas

There are proposed rule changes by the Texas Veterinary Medical Board that could limit equine therapies—like massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, and bodywork—to veterinarians only.

This would make it much harder for trained equine therapists (like myself) to continue helping horses.

💔 These therapies are not replacing vets—we work alongside them to support:
• Injury prevention
• Recovery & rehabilitation
• Mobility & performance
• Overall horse wellness

If these changes pass, it could:
• Limit access to care for your horses
• Increase costs for owners
• Push skilled therapists out of the industry
• Negatively affect horse health and performance

🐴 This impacts ALL of us—owners, trainers, and especially the horses.

🎓✨ At Cortiva Institute Arlington Texas,
today I had the opportunity to share my passion for equine therapy with my amazing classmates in human massage therapy! 🐎💆‍♀️
We explored the similarities between human and equine bodywork, dove into the benefits of massage and stretching for horses, and discussed how PEMF therapy supports recovery and performance.

While also promoting where I was eduated through Langley Equine Studies and NBCAAM (National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage).

Feeling grateful to combine my two worlds and inspire others with the holistic care.
