Ive got an extra seat here next to me in the farinfrared sauna and would love it if you also got to enjoy these benefits with me. One of the things I’m really loving is using green Chromotherapy. 💚 Green is known for its healing qualities, helping to restore balance, calm the mind, and rejuvenate the body. It’s like a breath of fresh air for the soul.

The sauna helps me detox, relax, and focus on healing, not just physically but emotionally as well. It’s my time to recharge and reconnect with myself.

Rather than lay in bed & keep scrolling horrific fire news, it was time to get up & do a sauna session to start this Thoughtful Thursday with an act of self-care, rather than feel the stress building so early in the morning.

So, I took to my handy-dandy far-infrared-sauna and put on the red light therapy.

Feeling the heat radiate inside every cell of my body while lifting up all those who are currently feeling stress from the fire events in California was my intent this morning. 🙏🏾 🔥 😢 🫂

May you quickly find respite, your peace, your calm so that you can see that in time, everything will be alright. For now, sending out lots of prayers, hugs and love from us out here in Iowa.

Stress is a killer, y’all. Let’s work together to support the idea that stress had serious physical and mental impacts.

Im curious…what’s one thing you’re trying hard to focus on being consistent in this week that helps you balance your body’s response to stress?

For me, it’s to continue to avoid sugar break downs I find myself in during stressful times.

You see, In 2005 I made changes to my daily lifestyle habits like regular walking, changing out about 12 foods that were causing me inflammation and cellular stress, and focusing on balancing my hormones through stress management.

As a result I started balancing out my body’s internal environments and I got rid of some pain causing inflammation, I lost 60 pounds and stopped having regular anxiety attacks.

Over these past 19 years, I’ve kept the weight off and learned how to better control my body’s response to stress by being consistent in maintaining and also growing those daily lifestyle habits that I started back in 2005. I’ve been consistent and so has my body in balancing my hormones.

I’ve slipped and fallen and also been pushed a few times off of (metaphorical) cliffs, and yet it’s probably because my parents named me ChelsyJoy, or maybe that my Irish born Gramma who lived as a missionary, taught me to Irish Jig my way through life. I’m simply grateful that I became available to learn how to re-catch my step again along the way when life things threw me off my jig.

So many things we do every single day of our lives that involve caring for others or other things…
A beautiful thing is, it’s never too late to start caring for ourself in ways that allows us to start and also maintain living our own optimal life.

In 2005 I lost 60 lbs…meanwhile it took me all the way to October 2023 when I finally started healing my gut when I started using new gut health supplements.

Im excited at how my body has responded this past year. It’s so amazing how time and consistency have big impacts, even on an old wellness nerd like me.

Just imagine where’d I’d be had I never started back in 2005?!

“I'm a quitter...I'll admit it! I quit hobbies, diets, workouts, ...I even quit Plexus.🤦🏻‍♀️ Yes, that's right. I quit the one thing that has completely changed my life. I didn't see immediate results, I felt worse before I felt better, I wasn’t consistent, and I quit. 🤭 true-story

It wasn't until I quit that I realized how much those products were actually working! How they were working hard on healing the INSIDE of my body first!
