One small kit. One big impact 🤩
This June, we joined forces with to collect items for their First Night Kit Program, helping bring comfort to families entering shelters in NJ.

Thanks to our amazing patients, dedicated office staff, and the incredible donation from (nearly 100 kits!), we were able to help provide the essentials that so many go without.

🧼 Toothbrushes, shampoo, soap — everyday items to us, but a lifeline for someone starting over.
To every staff member who brought in donations, and every patient who took time to give: YOU made this happen.

Honoring Dr. Richard Mackessy for National Physicians Week!

With over 45 years of experience, Dr. Richard Mackessy has been a in hand and upper extremity surgery, specializing in the treatment of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions. A Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, he is known for his expertise in reverse replacement, complex repairs, and .

Dr. Mackessy earned his degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School after beginning his medical studies at the University of Bologna in Italy. His training includes a general surgery residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital, an orthopaedic surgery residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, and a hand surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University.

Beyond patient care, Dr. Mackessy has shaped the field of orthopaedics through roles as Director of Hand Surgery at University Hospital in Newark, NJ, Director of Pediatric Hand Surgery at United Hospital, and past President of the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society and Jefferson Hand Society.

Dr. Sutain graduated from New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. He further advanced his expertise with a fellowship in Interventional Spine at University of Rochester Orthopaedic Surgical Department Spine Division.
