Funeral services celebrating the lives of both Wilma (Blewett) and her husband Bruce Bailey will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Furness Funeral Home in Clark, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Please note that the beginning time is 2, not 1, as previously posted. One of the greatest things that I have noticed about Clark in my year and a half of living here is that everyone truly cares about the community and each other. Today a group of the senior boys from Clark High School came together to help establish a permanent cross at the grave of the Little Fellow. Part of a senior project, the cross is a 15 foot tribute welded together by the boys themselves to honor the memory of a young man who came long before them. The cross will be lit and will be visible from Highway 212 when completed. If these boys are a reflection of the future of Clark, I think that we will be in very good hands. 🙂

David Penn, 52, of Prior Lake, MN, passed away on March 31, 2026. Services will be handled by Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel in Minnesota, however, we have posted the obituary on our website as a courtesy to the Penn family. The newest member of the Furness Staff, Emerald, acts as the current funeral director for our team. She has enjoyed getting to know many in the community, and is excited to see what her future in Clark brings!
