Please be aware of a scam situation that we have been made aware of within the community-a gentleman has reached out to a family that recently lost a loved one claiming that the gentleman owed the family a debt and wanted to pay for funeral expenses. This gentleman was very persistent and insisted that they do was asked of them to "get paid back". In reality he had no connection to the family and was attempting to get the family's bank account information. We have also been made aware of the fact that this is a common practice for scammers-looking through obituaries to find vulnerable family members to take advantage of. If you have ANY question whether a call is legitimate please reach out to your bank or local law enforcement agency.

**Please note that services for Larry Lynch have slight changes due to the forecasted weather. Visitation time will remain the same as scheduled. The Mass of Christian Burial will proceed at the scheduled time, however, lunch will be held at the St. Michael Catholic Church Fellowship Hall instead of the Bradley Community Center. Burial will take place following the meal if weather permits.**

The Mass of Christian burial will also be live streamed on the Furness Funeral Home page and will also be uploaded to the website on Wednesday afternoon.
