The Association of New Jersey Chiropractors has joined the federal antitrust litigation against MultiPlan (recently rebranded as Claritev) and major insurance companies over alleged price-fixing that has been shortchanging practitioners and limiting patient care.
Since at least 2015, practitioners have been forced to accept increasingly low payment amounts for out-of-network services while the profits of insurance companies soar. We are standing with hundreds of providers nationwide to fight for fair reimbursement.
Healthcare providers who believe they have been affected by MultiPlan’s alleged scheme can receive a free case evaluation.

The court also has appointed attorneys to litigate a proposed antitrust class action on the same issues, but a ruling on any proposed class certification is not expected until 2027. Providers who believe they have been impacted by MultiPlan’s conduct can join the litigation individually on a non-class basis and do not need to wait for any ruling on a proposed class.
