It’s a special day marking the shortest day and longest night of the year—the moment when the light begins to return. Across many cultures, the Winter Solstice has been honored as a time of rest, reflection, and renewal, reminding us that even in the darkest season, growth and light are on their way back.

Yule logs come from ancient solstice traditions. Historically, a log was burned to welcome the return of the sun and symbolize warmth, protection, and hope for the coming year. Today, Yule logs are often shared as a meaningful symbol—representing intention-setting, gratitude, and new beginnings.

✨ Laci will be giving out Yule logs while supplies last, so be sure to grab one and take home a little piece of solstice magic.

Today at the studio, we had two incredible visitors perched right on our sign — a pair of hawks watching over A Garden for Wellness. Such a powerful moment.

Hawks are known as spiritual messengers — symbols of courage, strength, and wisdom. They remind us to zoom out, see the bigger picture, and stay rooted in clarity and intention. Their sharp vision represents focus and deeper awareness, almost like they’re guiding you toward your true purpose.

They’re also seen as guides during transitions, encouraging you to move through change with resilience and trust. In many traditions, the hawk is a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds, carrying intuition, blessings, and reminders to listen to your inner truth.

Their presence today felt like a sign:

✨ And keep following the work your soul is here to do
