🏀 Basketball Registration Update! 🏀

We have a few important updates for our upcoming basketball season:

📅 5–6 Year Old Division

Registration has been extended through Sunday, October 26th! We have 9 spots remaining!

Teams will be placed the week after registration closes, and coaches will be notified once teams are set.

📅 8U–14U Divisions

Registration will close Thursday, October 31st.

Practices begin the week of November 17th.

⭐ Updated Evaluation Schedule - Players can't be placed on a team if they are not evaluated. Please make sure if you are unable to attend evaluation dates, that you call to schedule a time for evaluations.

Monday, November 10th

5:30 PM – 8U Girls

6:30 PM – 10U Girls

7:30 PM – 12U Girls

Tuesday, November 11th

5:30 PM – 8U Boys

6:30 PM – 10U Boys

🎉 Congratulations to Our Rec Cheer Squads! 🎉

We are so proud of all our Habersham County Recreation Cheerleading squads who participated in the NGYFA Cheerleading Championship on October 19th! Each team represented our community with incredible spirit, energy, and teamwork! 💙💛

🏆 Results:
• 6U – Davis: 1st Place in the 6U Spirit Division
• 6U – Lee: 2nd Place in the 6U Spirit Division
• 7U: 1st Place in the 7U Spirit Division
• 8U: 2nd Place in the Competition Division
• 9U: 3rd Place in the 9U Spirit Division
• 11U: 2nd Place in the 11U Spirit Division

🚨 Vandalism 🚨

We’re saddened to share that our restrooms at the Aquatic Center fields and pickleball courts have recently been vandalized. We are working closely with authorities and taking this matter very seriously.

Our team is also actively looking into long-term solutions to help prevent incidents like this from happening in the future.

🛠️ These facilities are here for the enjoyment of everyone in our community, and we ask for your help:
• Please keep an eye out for any suspicious activity
• Report anything unusual to the proper authorities
• Help us keep our public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
