SURPLUS TRUCK FOR SALE:
The City of Clarkfield is accepting sealed bids for a 1987 Ford F-150 pickup:2WD, manual transmission, inline 6 engine
Odometer: Reads ~29,000 miles (likely rolled over at least once; actual mileage unknown)
Condition: Runs and drives; sold AS-IS

Important: The City does not have the title in hand. Buyer will receive a bill of sale/proof of purchase from the City. It is the buyer's responsibility to obtain a title.
Vehicle sold as-is, where-is. All sales final.

Inspection: View anytime in front of the Public Works building at 300 13th Street.
Bid Deadline: Sealed bids must be received by 4:00 PM on February 2, 2026.

Drop off in a marked envelope ("Sealed Bid - Surplus Truck") at the City Office during business hours or in the after-hour drop box.

Bids will be opened publicly during the City Council meeting on February 2, 2026, at 7:00 PM. The City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

Clarkfield Indoor Skating Rink – Now Open

The City of Clarkfield is pleased to announce that the indoor skating rink is now open to the public. It is located at the building previously used as an indoor rink at 929 10th Street. There is no charge to use the rink; however, use of the facility is at your own risk.

The majority of the ice surface is in good condition, but skaters should be aware that there are a few soft spots and use caution at all times.

Please be mindful of others who are skating or playing hockey. This is a shared space, and cooperation is necessary so everyone can enjoy the ice safely.

The rink will be accessible daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

We ask all users to help keep the facility clean, respect others and their property, and treat the building with care. Please note that the facility is equipped with security cameras.

If you have gently used skates or hockey equipment that you no longer use, please consider donating them to the City of Clarkfield so others may enjoy the rink as well.
