As the weather cools down and days get shorter, it's easy to slow down, but staying active is still important for physical and mental health! This fall, keep your body moving and your spirits high with music-powered indoor movement.

Dance while folding laundry
Add songs to prep dinner
Try a freeze dance after homework
Cool down with stretches and soft autumn tunes

🎯 Challenge: Pick one family song each day this week and move together. No equipment needed!

Feeling snacky when you're not hungry? You're not alone.
We often reach for food when we're bored, stressed, or tired, especially in the colder, darker months... But music can help!

Try this routine:
Use music as a pause before snacking
Ask: β€œAm I hungry or just stressed?”
Swap in smart snacks like fruit, popcorn, or nuts
Move your body with a song you love

✨ This season, tune into your body β€” and tune out the cravings!

Fall into a Rhythm: Mealtime Music Routines

Want calmer, happier meals this Fall? Try setting a musical routine for your family dinners! Music can help kids transition to the table, slow down while eating, and even try new foods.

Start small:
βœ”οΈ Choose a mealtime playlist
βœ”οΈ Sing a start or clean-up song
βœ”οΈ Use soft background music to set the tone

🧑 This fall, make dinner time feel warm, calm, and connected β€” one song at a time.

Mood Foods & Music = Feel-Good Fuel!
Feeling tired, cranky, or just "blah?" The right snack + the right song can help lift your mood and re-energize your day! Certain tunes help us feel calm or pumped up. Certain foods help our brains feel the same way!

Mood-Boosters:
– Fruits & veggies (like apples, berries, pumpkin)
– Whole grains (like oats, popcorn)
– Lean proteins (like eggs, yogurt, beans)
– Healthy fats (like nuts or seeds)

Mood-Drainers:
– Sugary drinks and candy
– Highly processed snacks with lots of salt or unhealthy fats
– Skipping meals

Try these mood-boosting pairings with your family, and don't forget to dance, snack, and smile. πŸ˜„
