Raven – Keeper of the Silent Warnings

He watches us
long before we ever notice him.

In his black eye
lives a mirror sharper than any blade
he sees what shifts,
what breaks,
what approaches from the edges of the world.

Raven is not a prophet.
He is a reader
of tracks,
of wind,
of the tremble in the forest
before danger comes.

His call is never random.
It is a message carved from instinct:

“Pay attention.”
To the path.
To the sky.
To the things you pretend not to feel.

Some say he brings omens.
The wise say he brings reminders
warnings wrapped in wings,
truth carried in the arc of his shadow.

For Raven knows something humans forget:

Not all dangers roar.
Some whisper.
And some arrive so quietly
you need a black-winged messenger
to hear them at all.

Where he lands,
the air sharpens.
Where he cries,
the forest listens.

And the people repeat the old saying:

“When Raven speaks,
listen twice
once with your ears,
and once with your spirit.”
