If you are following a diet that puts more emphasis on protein intake, a good rule of thumb is to look for food/supplement choices that contain 1gram of protein per every 10 calories (Example: 100 calorie item with 10 grams of protein).These protein shakes from Fairlife give you 30g of protein for only 150 calories. When you make your next trip to the grocery store look at what you have in your cart before you check out and ask yourself:

1)Do I have what I WANT or what I NEED?

2)What is the ratio of whole foods vs processed foods?

*Keep in mind....the outer walls of the grocery store hold the best choices (produce, meats, diary). The isles hold the majority of processed foods and/or foods SO appealing to our wants that we throw our needs out the window.
