We’re incredibly grateful to the Harrison County Commission for awarding our clinic an additional $30,000 in Opioid Settlement Funding to support our oral and dental healthcare program!

Over the past year, this funding has helped Health Access provide comprehensive dental care, emergency pain relief, restorative treatment, oral cancer screenings, and Narcan distribution for individuals at risk of—or in recovery from—opioid use disorder. By addressing untreated dental pain, we’re helping reduce relapse risk and restore dignity, health, and hope.

Here at Health Access, we see this reality every day. In fact, in 2024 our most common diagnosis was hypertension (high blood pressure), which is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke.
