World Su***de Prevention Day calls us to stand together and support one another. Veterans carry experiences that can feel heavy, but no one has to face them alone.

Resources and support are always available: https://www.va.gov/REACH

Today, and every day, let’s reach out and remind each other that a hopeful tomorrow is within reach.

It’s that Time Again! The National Recovery Month Continuing Education Unit (CEU) event is scheduled to be held on 9/26/25 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. This is the 3rd year the Continuing Education has been combined with the main resource fair. The first portion of the CEU will be held at the Clarksburg Baptist Church, with us joining the main event located at Jackson Square in the afternoon. Both venues are within close walking distance, with parking outside of the Baptist Church.

This year, we are not only offering this CEU for social workers but have expanded to add other professionals! Accreditation is pending for ACCME/ACCME-NP, ANCC, ASWD/NYSED, APA/NYSED-P, CCRC, NBCC. You must attend the full day to receive CEU credit. We hope to see you there! To register, all non-VA employees may email Cheryl.travis@va.gov. She will walk you through how to register.
