Scattered to numerous showers are expected today with a few rumbles of thunder as a cold front passes through. High pressure will build in tonight with slightly cooler weather into Saturday. Windy and warmer conditions are anticipated Sunday.

Good afternoon! Temperatures have risen into the mid to upper 70s today. Although a cold front passes through tonight, continued warmer-than-average temperatures are expected through next week. Along with the warmth will come multiple chances for rain or storms. Stay tuned!

Warm today with breezy conditions and slightly elevated fire conditions. Far north-central Indiana could see some light rain today but better chances for rain and some thunderstorms arrive tomorrow. More warmth and storms are in store for next week.

Another cold night for areas north and east of Indianapolis, with lows around 30 from Delphi and Frankfort over to Shelbyville and Greensburg. Bring in any sensitive plants this evening...temperatures will rebound to the 60s to near 70F by late Wednesday.

Cool temperatures will continue through Wednesday morning before a warming trend begins. Temperatures by Thursday will be back into the 70s, though a low chance for a shower or storm will be possible north.

Dry and much cooler weather is expected through the start of the work week. Frost and/or freeze conditions are likely Monday night and possible Tuesday night. Be prepared to cover sensitive emerging vegetation.

A frost Advisory is in effect from 1AM tonight to 9AM Monday for E/SE portions of central IN. A freeze Watch is in effect from 2 to 10AM Tuesday for the NE half of the area. Make sure to cover any sensitive outdoor plants.

Trend to much cooler conditions tonight through Monday includes higher confidence in a hard freeze Monday night across central Indiana’s northern half, with lows around 30 into most southern zones. Stay tuned for updates through early next week.

Pattern change currently entering Indiana amid a strong cold frontal zone, including brief westerly gusts to around 40-45 mph. Temperatures will plummet down to around 50°F degrees by 800 PM. Dry with highs mid-40s to low 60s Sunday through Tuesday.
