It may feel like a broken record, but warm and dry conditions are expected to continue through the work week. Today will be the warmest of the work week, but even a slight cool down towards mid week will still remain well above our typical early October temperatures of highs in the low 70s.

09/29/2025

The weather will remain quiet through the upcoming work week. High temperatures will begin the week 10-15 degrees above normal. The only noticeable change to the weather this week will be some increasing clouds and slightly cooler temperatures beginning Wednesday lasting into Thursday.

09/26/2025

Above normal high temperatures and mostly sunny skies are expected through the weekend. High temperatures will warm into the low-mid 80s /about 10 degrees above normal/ by Sunday. Lows will be in the 50s.

09/26/2025

Despite widespread moderate to heavy rainfall this week, drought has intensified over portions of central Indiana. Most notably, Moderate Drought (D1) has expanded into Sullivan and Greene Counties and the Covington area, with Severe Drought (D2) now also along and north/northeast of a Tipton to Muncie line. No rain is forecast through the end of the 7-day period.

09/25/2025

Scattered to numerous showers continue to move slowly east this morning across the eastern half of central Indiana. Expect brief heavy rainfall that may cause ponding of water on roads. The threat for showers will gradually diminish from west to east later this morning.

09/25/2025

The brief rainy pattern we've had will soon come to an end with another round of warmer and drier than normal conditions expected stick around into next week.
