I am announcing my retirement from the practice of dentistry, effective June 1st.
After 47 years of caring for neighbors, friends, and families-- in many cases multi-generations of each-- our office will be closing. It has been our honor to get to know each and every one of you. To say our patients have been a big part of our lives is an understatement... We didn't just take care of your teeth. We've had the great gift of being invited to share your world. For many of you, it's been decades: ups and downs, victories and difficult times. We've been through it all, together; and we're beyond grateful that you've included us in so much of your life story. When the time came to retire, there was an immense burden. It was important to find someone to pass the baton to, who would treat my patients well and provide good, quality, individualized care. It is important to me that you continue to be well cared for, that your needs continue to be met, and that I hold up my end of making sure you are given what you need. I believe the right fit has been found-- Veltri Family Dental. After meeting with them, it became obvious I can confidently recommend them; and we were so impressed that our own family will seek care there. Veltri Family Dental is a full service dental practice focused on providing patients with high quality dental care in a compassionate, friendly, family-oriented environment. For your convenience, they have 2 offices: one in Clarksburg at 222 Court Street (304-622-8001) and a beautiful new facility located at 300 Main Street in Bridgeport (681-661-6505). Veltri Family Dental office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm-- meaning our patients can now receive care on Fridays; and Veltri Family Dental is a Participating Provider for many of your insurance plans, which will be a great help to many, as well. Our patients should request "Gloria" and say "I'm from Dr. Curry's Office" when making appointments, as she has been assigned to essentially give you "concierge care" in your scheduling. As a courtesy to assist our patients further, all records will be transferred to Veltri Family Dental, so nothing is required from you: it's all been seamlessly taken care of. Patients previously scheduled with us will be contacted by Veltri Family Dental to let you know what to expect and to make things easier for you, going forward. (Again, concierge treatment.) The Veltri Family Dental motto is: "We treat our patients like family!" Those aren't just words. They take that commitment seriously: so I have every confidence our wonderful patients-- who have embraced us as family-- will be in good hands with Veltri Family Dental-- as my family will be, too.
