Most people assume habits are a discipline problem.
But habits are actually learned brain patterns.
That’s good news — because what’s learned can be rewired.

Episode 28 explains how habits follow a loop (cue → craving → response → reward) and how renewal begins when you interrupt that loop with truth.

✨ The holidays can be beautiful… and brutally hard. ✨

For those struggling with alcohol, this season can feel like walking through a minefield.

Drinks are everywhere.
Celebration is expected.
Sobriety can feel isolating when alcohol is so socially acceptable.

But this scene from The Chosen reminds us of something powerful.

Jesus doesn’t shame Mary Magdalene.
He doesn’t lecture her.
He calls her by name and redeems her—right in the middle of her brokenness.

📖 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” — Isaiah 43:1

If the holidays feel heavy because alcohol has a hold on you (or someone you love), hear this truth today:

👉 Your struggle does not define you.
👉 Your worth is not measured by your willpower.
👉 You are not forgotten, overlooked, or too far gone.

Jesus still redeems.
He still restores.
And freedom is still possible—one day, one moment, one brave step at a time.

If today is hard, you are not weak.
You are human.
And you are deeply loved. 🤍

💬 If this resonates, you are not alone.
🎧 Resources, tools, and hope are waiting for you.

🎧 It’s here — Episode 28 just dropped, and this one brings relief to anyone who’s ever wondered why change feels so hard.

If you’ve ever asked, “Why do I keep doing this even though I know better?” this episode will help you understand what’s really happening — without shame.

Here’s the truth we unpack:
Habits aren’t changed by trying harder. They’re changed by renewing the mind.

In this episode, you’ll learn:
• Why willpower alone fails under stress
• How habits form on autopilot in the brain
• Where Scripture and neuroscience meet
• How mind renewal leads to lasting change

Tell me in the comments 👉
Where do YOU notice habits showing up most right now — emotions, reactions, relationships, or daily routines?
Drop a word or a GIF that captures it.

Most people try to change what they do without ever examining who they believe they are.

But your brain wires your habits around your identity, not your intentions.

That’s why this week’s tool — the Identity Inventory — is one of the most powerful reflections you can do before entering 2026.

Application ➡️ Transformation

It helps you uncover:
• the identity your brain has been operating from
• the lies that have shaped your patterns
• the truth God says about you
• and where renewal needs to begin

Your habits don’t come from willpower — they flow from your identity.

In today’s episode, you’ll discover the missing piece between your beliefs, your brain, and your behaviors — and learn how the Identity Inventory can help you finally shift the patterns beneath the surface.

Let’s talk about the moment you almost sabotage your own progress…

That moment when fear gets loud, overthinking kicks in, or perfectionism whispers, “Don’t start until you can do it perfectly.”

These aren’t personality flaws — they’re thought patterns your brain memorized over time.

Which one shows up for you the MOST?
😬 Overthinking
🛑 Procrastination
🎯 Perfectionism
😟 Fear-based decisions

December launches a brand-new series: Reset Your Mind for 2026 — a month of Spirit-led, science-backed mind renewal to help you break old patterns and start the new year differently. 🎉🧠✨

This week’s episode is the foundation for the entire series. If you want to understand WHY change feels so hard — and how God designed your brain to experience real, lasting transformation — this is the episode to start with.

Ever wonder why New Year’s motivation fades so fast?
It’s not because you’re weak or undisciplined — it’s because your brain is wired for familiarity, not change.
But here’s the good news: you can wire out whatever you’ve wired in.

What’s ONE habit or goal you’ve abandoned in the past because you “lost momentum”?
Share below — let’s normalize the struggle and grow together.

A peaceful image of hands wrapped around a warm mug, morning sunlight, or cozy textures that reflect warmth + gratitude.

Did you know your brain can’t spiral and practice gratitude at the same time?

Seriously — God designed your mind so gratitude activates the peace pathways and quiets the panic pathways. 🙌

That means every time you pause long enough to notice something good, your brain begins to shift out of survival mode and into rest.

✨ Today I want to challenge you with this question:
Where did you see God’s goodness show up in your day — even in a small way?
