ATTENTION HIGHSCHOOLERS- We have the perfect job for you!

Our Culinary Team is looking to grow. We have great schedules to accommodate school and work. We are looking to fill our PRN roles, this means you pick your days to work. Training is provided so experience is not needed. All we are asking for is a great attitude, willing to learn, and looking to love the place you work.

Today we celebrated three of our very special people. HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MILO, DONNA, AND DON!!

We enjoyed a game of noodle ball, many rounds of birthday BINGO, and a delicious marbled cake!

Every last Wednesday, we celebrate our birthdays for that month. Families are always welcomed to join us! :)

Clarkson Community Care Center is looking for a Life Enrichment Director. We are looking for someone outgoing and ready to jump in and have fun with the residents. Hours are M-F 8am-4:30pm. Training provided for the right candidate. 😊 This is an administrative position with hands on task.

Thank you Brooke Hart for your generous donations for our Clarkson Store! Our residents are so stocked to see what we will have! Our next shopping day is March 4th.

Many have asked what our residents are wanting. I am trying to gather their input but so far they have asked for jewelry, bags & purses, coloring books, mini hygiene items like lotion, hand wash, tissues, photo frames, colored pencils, markers, and small novelty items. Alongside the store, we are opening a boutique. We are looking for gently used clothing of all sizes for ladies and men. We will rotate the selection so they have something fresh each time.

We had such a good turn out for our Valentine's Day Party! Thank you to all of the volunteers, staff, community, and residents who made this possible. The residents enjoyed all of it and they are still talking about the good music! After our live music, we enjoyed hot pizza, cheese and meats, and some very good strawberry angel food cake! We cannot wait to celebrate the next event. ❤️

We started a new thing today and the residents just loved it! Today was a trial run but it could not have gone any better. Our residents use their bingo winnings and they visit the store to purchase what they wish. A lot of great ideas from the residents themselves! As we all know, it gets harder to get out and just shop as we age. I am beyond thankful that we were able to do this for them and to see them truly enjoy the event.

We had so many items and truth be told, the ladies were already claiming dibs before I could get pictures. 🤣

All items were either purchased at local thrift stores or donated by churches. Each month we will add to the store to continue providing fun items. If you wish to donate any items you have, please feel free to contact Chelsea. Donations are not required in order to continue this event. 😊

We’re excited to share that Chelsea will be stepping into our Social Services department!

Since joining our team in October, Chelsea has been a wonderful addition to our Business Office. As we’ve gotten to know her background and passions, it became clear that her experience and heart for social services align perfectly with this role—work she truly loves and has been eager to return to.
This transition is a planned growth opportunity that allows us to better utilize her strengths while continuing our commitment to supporting residents and families with the highest level of care and communication.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH IS KIM FREED!! 🥳🥳

Kim was chosen as Employee of the Month for her caring heart and immense amount of selflessness. Kim always puts her residents first and gives 100% to their care. She comes in everyday with a smile and quickly brightens any room she enters. She has over achieved our expectations these past few months as she took on almost all DON task plus maintaining her roles as well. If you see Kim, please stop to congratulate her! 💕💕

Kim - we hope you know your are so much more than a month of recognition. You make Clarkson a place of laughter and we can always count on you to crack a joke and cheer everyone up. We are so blessed to have you on the team. There are not enough donuts in the world to pay you back for all you do! 🤣

These ladies are always ready to jump in and help make treats. Today they helped prepare no bake cheesecake for our Happy Hour snack! The wine & cheesecake were perfect together!!
