🏡 Did you know?
Henry Ford — the iconic industrialist and founder of Ford Motor Company — once had a summer home and weekend cottage right here on Main Street in Clarkston, Michigan! He also owned a mill that ran on the waters of what we now call Mill Pond. While the original building has been modernized, it still stands today as a small mall featuring art galleries and office space. Ford even purchased the old schoolhouse on North Main Street to create an apprentice school. At Monark Grove Clarkston, we’re proud to be part of such a rich and historic community!
