Happy August! This challenge is for the ones who feel like rest is weakness,
who’ve made strength their whole personality,
and who are finally ready to choose themselves — gently, without apology.
1. Move Your Body once a Day: your workout can be gentle: yoga, walking, stretching, or dance.
Increase intensity based on your own personal needs. Keep your goals realistic.
2. Honor your nervous system. Some days, stillness is strength.
3. Drink 1 Gallon of Water: Infuse it with herbs, fruit, or intention. Speak affirmations over it if you feel called.
4. Journal Daily (Free Write or Prompted)
Answer 1 of these:
“What am I unlearning today?”
“What triggered me today and what did it teach me?”
“What part of me needs love right now?”
“Who was I today, and who do I want to become?”
5. Stick to a Food Plan: Define your own version: Clean eating? Anti-inflammatory? No sugar? No takeout? You can build in a weekly “soul food day” — intentional joy, not mindless eating.
6. Do One Act of Softness or Self-Affection DAILY
Examples:
Skin care routine
Say “no” without apology
Play your favorite 90s playlist and dance
Light a candle and say your name out loud like a prayer
Laugh deeply
Go to sleep early

Take a daily photo (not for aesthetics — to witness your becoming).
No substitutions, no days off. If you miss something, start over.
