What is EFT

Have you ever heard of Emotion Focused Therapy? EFT is a practical technique that has enormous success with couples, and can facilitate change in marriages and relationships that exhibit a wide range of challenges. It has been found that 70 to 75 percent of couples effectively move from distress to recovery using EFT and approximately 90 percent of couples show significant improvement in their relationships. I am so very excited to incorporate EFT into my counseling practice and witness, firsthand, couples move from intense conflict to collaboration and emotional security.

The International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) - located in Ottawa, Canada - is the home for research and training related to EFT - particularly for couple and family therapy.
