We’re honored to share that Ethnē Health has received a community grant from the Georgia Healthy Family Alliance to support our provision of culturally sensitive care to our vibrant Clarkston community!
This gift was hand-delivered by Dr. Helen Sairany, EVP of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. But her presence was more than official — it was deeply personal.
As a former refugee from Iraqi Kurdistan, Dr. Sairany knows what it means to be seen, supported, and given the safety to dream. At age 9, she arrived in the U.S. with trauma and uncertainty. She was welcomed by a loving family who brought her in, taught her English, and believed in her long before she believed in herself. Their kindness planted seeds that grew into a career marked by resilience, healing, and impact.
She now stands in our clinic, gives back and reflects in her own words:
“Clarkston, this small Georgia town, holds stories like mine from every corner of the world. It is a testament to what America can be at its very best: a haven, a home, a second chance.”
Dr. Sairany’s journey is a moving reminder of why we do what we do. At Ethnē, we strive to embody Servant Leadership by walking with our neighbors through hardship and hope. And we believe that real transformation happens through Collaborative Community — when physicians, families, and local organizations come together in love and justice.
Thank you, Georgia Healthy Family Alliance, for investing in a future where every patient is heard, understood, and dignified.
