I wanted to remind you the clinic will be closed next Friday, October 7th for Nola's 4th birthday. Most of you know that I vowed to always take the day off for Nola's birthday no matter what day of the week it falls on. This year it falls on a Friday. Hello Everyone!!!

We are excited to welcome our new massage therapist to the clinic! Shelly has been a licensed massage therapist for over 12 years. She has worked in several different environments from wellnesss centers to chiropractic care and has treated a variety of clientele with ailments and injuries. She considers herself to be an integrative massage therapist adapting to her clients needs. Her modalities include: deep tissue, swedish/relaxation, sports/stretching, trigger point and prenatal.

Shelly will start on Wednesday, April 6th. Online scheduling will not be available for massages, you will have to call the clinic to make an appointment. Initially, her schedule will be:

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to give you a little reminder the clinic will be closed next Thursday October 7th (It's Nola's 3rd birthday!!). Most of you know that I vowed no matter what day of the week my daughter's birthday fell on, I would take that day off for her. We plan on going to the trampoline place/DEFY in the morning, possibly the Wilderness zoo in Birch Run and then Vinsetta's Garage for dinner. It will be fun for sure!!

Hello Everyone,

Today marks my 15th year since I first opened my clinic in Clarkston. I personally can’t thank you enough for allowing me the opportunity to care for your chiropractic needs. The first day that I opened fell on Friday the 13th and we have since survived and managed to grow through The Great Recession and now a global pandemic!! Never in a million years would I have expected these crazy circumstances. Words do not suffice when it comes to the joy that I have experienced treating everyone over the years. I have seen patients grow from toddlers to their first year in college. I have seen couples go from dating to getting married to giving birth to their first child……and some their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and a few their 6th. Many of my pregnant patients I treated hours before the birth of their baby and some of the newborns at the hospital within hours of their birth. I get emotional when I think about all the great experiences my patients have given me by allowing me to be their chiropractor. And it goes both ways. Many of you have seen me go from being the forever bachelor and weekend racer to finally meeting the woman of my dreams in Sarah, then marrying her and the best thing ever…..the birth of my sweet Nola Rose. The kindness and caring you have also showed me as a person is just amazing. From the well wishes (and a few harsh words…lol) from various motorcycle racing injuries to the genuine excitement and happiness you expressed to Sarah and I when Nola was born. Incredible!! I am very blessed. And honestly, what a trip it has been. They definitely don’t teach this stuff in school…lol. Once again Thank You…..and I look forward to continuing to be your chiropractor for many years to come.

Hello Everyone,
Starting Wednesday April 22nd we will be open limited clinic hours with new clinic/patient protocols:
- Scheduled appointments only.
-No Walk-Ins allowed.
-All patients must wear a face mask (these will not be provided).
-A temperature check will be performed when you walk in.
-We will call you at or just before your scheduled appointment time to let you know when it is ok to come in, as we will be locking the doors in between patient appointments.
-Only scheduled patients will be allowed to enter. All others will have to wait outside or in the car.
-Appointments will be scheduled at 20 minute intervals. If a family of 2-4 would like to come in at the same time let us know when you call and we will block a 40 minute time slot for you so everyone can be treated. If you choose to schedule online at www.activehealthcc.com you will see appointments are set at 20 minute intervals as well. If you are not sure what to do just give us a call or leave a voice message and we will call you back and get things scheduled for you. So no worries!!
-All clinic staff will be wearing a mask and gloves. We will be randomly checking our own temperature throughout the day as well.
-You will not come into contact with anyone other than clinic staff during your visit.
-All contact points will be cleaned after every patient visit.

I hope you are all doing well and are playing it safe with the coronavirus. I wanted to let you know that we are still open. This may change if and when the State/Federal Government tells us to do something different or if we decide to close on our own, which may happen sooner than later. We are being very careful with processing patients at the clinic. There are 3 areas in the waiting room to keep safe distances from one another. If this area fills up and there is not enough separation, we will ask you to wait outside until more space becomes available. We will be performing thermal head scans to rule out any fevers before going back to any of the treatment rooms. We are all wearing latex gloves and are cleaning the tables/equipment more diligently than ever before. Of course, hand sanitizer is placed throughout the clinic (that has always been the case). PLEASE DO NOT come into the clinic if you have any type of cold/flu like symptoms!! We will post any changes to the operation of the clinic on the voice mail, Website, Facebook and through mass emails.

To make it easier for you to schedule future appointments we have finally launched our online scheduling feature. Some of you may have already received an invitation to register so you can do so.
