Jared Jackson Jr has a torn meniscus according to reports. This will end a short season for him.
A meniscus is a cartilage that provides cushion in the knee. There are two of them. When these tear, the likelihood of repair vs taking out the torn piece is low. This is done using arthroscopic techniques. (Two or three poke holes around the knee joint) recovery is usually full with resumption of activities. It is very painful and any one of us can get this not just NBA players.
